So, unlike I’d been hoping, things have not improved greatly healthwise. Nausea is under control with medication, but it’s still there, so it seems I’m one of those lucky few ladies who suffers from HG through their whole pregnancy. This sucks.

The weather has been pretty rotten this week. Cold and rainy with a dash of snow even! Here are some pictures from a few minutes of sun we got after a rainy day.

This week, our home was inundated by hundreds of ladybugs. They were all over the southern exterior of our house, and I had to take at least a dozen from inside our place and release them back into the garden.

Yesterday, we went for a hike along the Naab River near Heizenhofen. It’s a beautiful trek that I highly recommend. You can park in Heizenhofen under the overpass and walk along the Naab to Kallmünz for lunch or coffee. It’s also quite popular with cyclists.

Last week, we spent the weekend and a couple more days with my in-laws over in the Eifel region of Germany. During the visit, we took a day trip to Leuven, Belgium:
