I know I’ve left many of you who asked questions in the lurch, but I will eventually answer them, hopefully sooner rather than later. I have rough drafts of the posts made up, but I’ve either been too busy showing around visitors, meeting friends, or getting the house ready for the baby (on my good days), or have just been feeling too lousy to get anything done (this describes much of the last week).
The end is in sight for me. The doctors are planning on inducing me in about 3 weeks (that’ll be three weeks early), unless the baby comes earlier on its own. It is not typical in Germany to intervene unnecessarily, which I appreciated a lot with Oliver’s birth, but I am glad that I’m looking at 3 weeks instead of 6.
My aunt is flying in tomorrow night to help us out for the next month. Not sure how any of these things will affect my blogging schedule, I just hope you guys will hang in there with me.
I hope you are all doing well and sooner or later you will either get some more questions answered or see a birth announcement. Take care of yourselves!

Good luck! Thinking of you and so glad the end is in sight.
Good luck! I hope the baby comes out soon!
For some fun, check out Dackel Princess. I have an entry up about Einstein, the World’s Smallest Horse! He was born in a town just south of us, and we went to see him yesterday. So very precious.

So glad you’re getting help for a month! Thinking of you, hang in there!
Good thoughts coming your way. Happy Mother’s Day!
Hey Christina. Good news and congrats! Can’t wait to see pics of the new baby! Very exciting. Thanks again for the tips you gave me regarding my 3 year old. Every week he continues to say new English and German words. He still mumbles words we don’t understand, but I guess we just need to be patient. He’s getting there. All the best to you and your growing family.
Well, hats off Christina for all you manage to juggle. Am sure anyone would understand you needing to shift a gear down, as they say in german…best wishes to you and your family and smooth goings for the upcoming birth of new little Mr. Geiger (you did say it´s another boy a while back, right?) Will be watching for the big news and upcoming posts when you find time again…
Dear Christina and Family
Don’t know if I can wait that long to hear from you again! Am getting anxious for news about the new baby and am certain you, too, will be glad to have the pregnancy part over.
Good luck and hope to have a nice detailed report about the second birth because Oliver’s birth story was great!
