This week, our home was inundated by hundreds of ladybugs. They were all over the southern exterior of our house, and I had to take at least a dozen from inside our place and release them back into the garden.

it looks still very sunny and warm down your end of the republic. or are these the last warm days and autumn is setting in with you, too? and will you go and fly a kite with oliver this year?
about the beetles: these are the evil chinese ladybirds that endanger the middle-european species. under normal circumstances i would never say such a thing, least of all advise it: next time you see them, hit them with a rolled-up newspaper.

Those were the last warm, sunny days of the year, I think. It’s been cold and rainy here the last couple days. Oliver hasn’t seemed too interested in kites. We pass people flying them sometimes while walking and he doesn’t really pay attention.
Great pictures looks like a beautiful autumn day in your neck of the woods. Have a wonderful Sunday.
