This weekend was spent at the WEBUM (Whiny Expat Bloggers Unmissable Meetup) 2009 in Munich. I got to meet and hang with a lot of really cool expat bloggers, like Heidelbergerin, Mausi, Papascott, the Regensbloggers, Snooker, Elemmaciltur, Hezamarie, J, Jentry, TQE, No Apathy Allowed, David Douglas, Headbang8, Michelle and Jul (I hope I remembered everyone!). It was a blast seeing old friends and making new ones.
Saturday morning was the city tour:
St Peter’s Church
Artichokes in the Viktualien Market
Chanterelle mushrooms in the Viktualien Market
Munich’s Rathaus (City hall)
Chef Alfons Schuhbeck at his cafe (the guy in the white coat)
The Heroes Hall
Eisbach Surfers
Then we headed out to the Theresienwiese on Sunday to see the Bavaria statue and the set up for Oktoberfest:
