Last weekend we went to see Cham, a city in the Bavarian Forest.

@tara & S.A.M.: Thanks! I love that we can sightsee every weekend and never run out of places to visit.

@Maria: it’s a 6 year old point & shoot (Canon Powershot A95) with a wide angle converter lens attached. I’m hoping and wishing that I’ll be getting an SLR for Christmas :)

So, I’m thinking that the Kanonenkugel is the German version of a Turduckin. That’s the first thing that popped into my head when I read your description. :)
