We finally recovered from all our various illnesses this week and were out and about and taking more photos:

Sleepy guy
Allium in Regensburg
Yesterday, we spent the day in Franken at a double baptism, the daughter (Eva) and niece (Klara) of Rainer’s best friend Tobias were baptized, one by the Catholic priest and one by the Protestant pastor. Rainer is the godfather of Eva.

Ochsenfurt is one of the places in Germany where King Richard I of England was held captive during his return from the crusades.

The baptism
Just as the priest got up for his sermon, Oliver broke lose, ran up on the alter, sat in the priest’s chair, then began laughing loudly (Aufgestanden, Platz vergangen!) – I thought that stuff only happened in cheesy commercials, but no, it’s happened to us now. I was mortified and Rainer, who was raised a good catholic, hesitated, not knowing if he should run up onto the altar and retrieve Oliver, but in the end he did.
After the baptism, we went up into the vineyards of Sommerhausen for the celebration

These are wonderful Christina! That sky is amazing in St Andreas in Ochsenfurt– I love the composition of that shot. My favorite, however, may be the grandparent’s wine tasting. I love their faces and how the wine is illuminated! Great set!

Hey Christine:
By the way..
Can I ask for your recommendation for Wine Yard where they also serve wine (in Regensburg).
I am highly interested, but have difficulty to find the information from my resources.
Hope it is not too much troubles for you. Thank you!
CY
@cy: This isn’t really a wine area, so I don’t know of any vineyards nearby. The Wurzburg area has some, but I don’t know anything about wine so I can’t recommend any in particular.
