Oliver is, that is. We just got back from spending the over 3 hours at the hospital emergency room. Oliver has some complications from the surgery back in December that got worse and worse as the day (today) went on. We met with the surgeon and he has scheduled Oliver for an outpatient operation tomorrow. Should be quick he says, but this still sucks. Okay, I’m off to spend time with my little man. He gave me about a hundred kisses today while we waited. Keep us in your thoughts tomorrow.
Update: We went to the hospital this morning, the doctor took a look, and the swelling of his wound was greatly reduced and all the pus was gone. The doctor said Oliver’s immune system seems to be handling the problem, so he didn’t need another operation after all. We’re all very relieved.

I hope he makes a speedy recovery. I’m sorry that he has had to go to hospital twice now, but he sure is one tough little cookie.

Just a little food update regarding the condensed cream of mushroom soup: I mixed 700 ml milk with 2 packages Maggi Meisterklasse Champignon Creme Suppe (boiled for a few minutes) – it turned out tasting just like 2 cans of Campbells! Thanks for the tip.
