I’ve been baking up a storm this week and with chasing around a quickly recovering toddler, that hasn’t left me much time for photos, but here’s a couple I took in between cookie batches. All of the recipes except for the sugar cookies were from or inspired by recipes in The Good Cookie: Over 250 Delicious Recipes from Simple to Sublime
I’ll be taking a break from blogging while we’re visiting the in-laws, so Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone, or as they say in Germany, Fröhliche Weihnachten! Guten Rutsch! Hope you get everything you wished for! Have a great holiday!

Happy Christmas to you all. Now you’ll say I’m interfering, but I think Charlie deserves one festive-season biscuit. Go on. Let him crunch away happily. Mind you, is that Oliver feeding him again in the top photo? They make quite a team.
