Video Wednesday: Oliver is obsessed with my Flip camcorder

I’m all better, but Oliver is sick (I think he’s teething.  Something they don’t tell you before you become a parent: teething babies spew fluids out of both ends.  And they cry all night.  Yeah, fun.)  Anyways, we bought a wireless router and as soon as Oliver is well, and the router is set up, I should be able to blog a little more frequently.  The office is not all that baby friendly, so using the laptop in the living room should give me a little more time online.  Well, except that Oliver is also obsessed with the laptop too.  And the camera.

But on to the video.  This is from a few days ago and shows why I have trouble taking videos of Oliver now.  As soon as the camcorder comes out, he makes a beeline straight for it.

 

Oh, and for local folks, the 37th Annual Hohenfels German-American festival will be taking place from April 30 to May 4.  You can be sure I’m gonna be there chowing down on good ole American grub!

    I need to know more about the German America festival. Specifically, is there Taco Bell available? And do I just show up at the gates of the base and they’ll let me in?

    (Also, I’m definitely up for a trip to Jako-o sometime soon.)

    I think I’m obsessed with watching Oliver. Cuteness overload.

    Oberpfalz is not so far. Maybe I can convince Alex that a trip on Saturday or Sunday is in order.

    I’m exhausted just watching that clip - you must be superwoman to keep up with him 24/7.

    Thank goodness my kids are now all teens… and I’ve got a short memory!

    He is lovely though….

    Boy; don’t call Oliver camera shy …he seems to love your camcorder.
    He is growing so fast !!
    When I watching Oliver try and play with the corder, I was thinking ” he’s graowing up with all this tech”.We didn’t have all this. My family had a Super 8 & a projector, and I only touched a computer as an adult.

    Oh, yeah, I can see the trouble! :lol: On the other side, you have a spontaneous and pretty cute video, even though it’s a lot of close ups.

    Maybe a career in movies for him?
