Yeah, I know things look funky

I’m trying to iron out some of the formatting and other issues that are still plaguing the site, and unfortunately, this little guy doesn’t give me the time to just get it all done in one shot.  If I’m lucky I have an hour here or there, but it’s generally more like a half hour or less.  That means things might look strange for a little while (hopefully this will not be long).  It also means that I am reading comments and emails, but not always responding promptly because I really want to get this blog into shape and I’m spending most of my computing time coding.  I hope you all will forgive me my tardy responses!  I also have no idea why my comment form won’t remember people’s information.  If anyone knows what I should do, by all means tell me.  Oh god, silent but deadly dog fart – Charlie is a WMD.  *Choke*  *Choke*

Oh, and I got a Flip Ultra camcorder for Christmas which has given me an idea.  I’ve seen that many people have “Photo Fridays” and such, so I think I’m going to try out “Video Wednesdays.”  Or maybe “Video every other Wednesday.”  Hopefully not “Video one Wednesday a month.”

Okay, I need some fresh air.  Later!

I’ll wager it has something to do with this block:

I always get a javascript error from your pages in MSIE 6 on Windows XP (probably on my other computers and browsers too, but I don’t remember at the moment). The javascript error appears to reference your google analytics script, but I bet the problem is actually in cforms.js. Have you ever looked at that? Here’s what it looks like:

eval(function(p,a,c,k,e,d){e=function(c){return(c35?String.fromCharCode(c+29):c.toString(36))};if(!''.replace(/^/,String)){while(c--){d[e(c)]=k[c]||e(c)}k=[function(e){return d[e]}];e=function(){return'\\w+'};c=1};while(c--){if(k[c]){p=p.replace(new RegExp('\\b'+e(c)+'\\b','g'),k[c])}}return p}('h 4l=J;h
…and it goes on and on and on.

So yeah, I’d try disabling the cforms plugin first if I were you and seeing if the default WordPress behavior works without the cforms gobbledygook.

Crud, my first code block didn’t work. Let’s try that again. It was supposed to look like this:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://amiexpat.nfshost.com/wp-content/plugins/contactforms/js/cforms.js"></script>

Well, that didn’t do anything. I think I’m going to have to coerce you into coming over and helping me out with the promise of a Thai feast.
