Oh, I know you have this looped on continuous play at your place! LOL!
That was the weirdest thing I have ever seen! Pam
Also gives some insight into the German view of Eastern European emigrants.
That’s not so bad….better than Gwen Stefani…

(which could perhaps be taken as evidence of the odd musical taste of Americans!)
I find both oddly fascinating myself!
She’s Romanian if I’m not mistaken, so (in this case) it’s not all the Germans’ fault.
Hilarious! Could I spot some irony in there? A serious issue disguised in the cloak of pop video? Or was it just an example of extremely bad taste? Still smiling!
That’s pretty funny, actually. Probably really popular here in Duisburg, where most of the population can totally relate. There’s one neighborhood up north where every block there are at least 3 formalwear stores. Seriously. Not an exaggeration. At least three per block.
I have to agree on that Gwen Stefani comment by C N. What is up with her and why do people listen? Gag…
@rita: I know how you feel!
@maria: How did you know?!?
@pam: It’s weird for sure, but clearly you didn’t see the David Hasselhof video I posted earlier this year!
@tammy: Looking at the YouTube comments though, it seems the immigrants love the video too.
@c n heidelberg: I have to agree, these videos are oddly fascinating.
@sarah: You are correct, she is Romanian – and not all her videos are quite this odd…
@swenglishexpat: I gotta wonder if that comical view of a serious issue is there on purpose or if it’s accidental. I guess that it’s probably on purpose.
@debbie: Berlin-Wedding is like that too. And I like No Doubt, but I think Gwen Stafani’s solo career has been a major disappointment.
Seen this one?

I think I like it even better. I actually dig her voice…and the orchestrations in both songs are interesting (you can’t have enough brass and woodwinds if you ask me)…but the songs are so dang weird.
@Cliff: I have seen that one and do agree that it’s better. I certainly dig her message, if you love me, you gotta give me the food!
