Two Mini Meetups on September 29 – Be there or be square!

In honor of Carol and her daughter Elizabeth’s trip to Germany, there will be two – count’em two! – mini meetups on Saturday, September 29. The first will be in Nürnberg (Nuremburg); we’ll be meeting by the main information desk at the Nürnberg Hauptbahnhof (train station) at noon. So far, Carol and Elizabeth, Blythe and Theo, and Oliver and I are attending. Let me or Blythe know if you will be there. I think it will just be lunch with Carol, and I don’t know Blythe’s schedule, but I’ll be happy to stick around longer if there are more folks there.

The second meetup will begin in the train station in Frankfurt at 4pm. It’s being organized by J over at Germany doesn’t suck, so head over there for more details.

Hope to see you next Saturday in two weeks!

Ohhh, a chance to meet Oliver AND see Theo again (and, of course, everyone else… but let’s face it, babies rule!). I’ll have to check into train tickets and see if I can swing it.

I think you mean two Saturdays from now, not next Saturday.

Unfortunately I will be on the other side of the pond: I’m heading to DC for a couple of meetings and I fly Friday.

@eurotrippen: I hope you’ll be able to make it!

@tqe: Yeah, that’s right. My brain doesn’t work well now, that’s what having babies does to ya (or me anyway). Next Saturday I’m going to be in Köln! Have fun in DC!

It was great to meet you and Oliver! I just wish we could have hung around longer. The sudden change in plans made me feel cut off at the knees!

But hopefully you and Blythe got better acquainted. You both have adorable babies… and are pretty adorable yourselves!

Carol
