Christina and Oliver in the hospital - 25 July 2007

Introducing: Oliver Martin
Born: July 23, 2007 at 12:17pm in Regensburg, Germany
Weight: 3820 grams (8 lbs, 6.8 oz)
Length: 52 cm (20.5 inches)

Water broke at 6am on July 22 – labor was induced at 6pm later that day. It was tough, but we’re doing well now and we’re happy to be at home. I’m exhausted and sitting is not fun, so I’m taking a posting mini-break and I’ll be back with a full report on the birth in a few days.

Finally at home! - 25 July 2007

We’re all happy to be home!

Oh congratulations! He’s so cute. And big :) Definitely doesn’t have that newborn look, he’s already mature for his age.

  • BiB

Thrilled for you all. Hope you’re feeling tip-top again very soon. (Blythe’s comment sounded very authoritative. I’d go with it.) (Hope Charlie’s being a good big brother.)
