You’re having a baby!!!! Yeah! I’ve been on vacation or I would have shouted yippee sooner. What wonderful news, Congratulations!
Thanks and congratulations on your new baby as well. She is so incredibly cute!
Congratulations on the baby! Is Regensburg in the former East? Do you enjoy living there?…ciao
@rositta: Regensburg is in the former West, in Bavaria specifically, about an hour and a half north of Munich. I’ve only been living here coming on two months, so far it’s nice, but it’s hard say. I miss Potsdam and all the friends I had there.
Apparently I’ve missed something and you’re with child. Congrats!
@j: Thanks, we found out the day before leaving for the Expat Meetup in Bonn!
Christina,
I am sorry to say, but I am living in Potsdam, for a year now. What a bummer I didn*t get to know you. Anyway, did you have an expat community while you were here? I am married to a German and just had a baby in February.
Susan
@Susan: It’s too bad we didn’t meet! I make trips up there occasionally, so maybe we’ll have a chance in the future.
I did not find many expats in Potsdam. I had a Canadian friend there (who also had a baby in February), but she just moved away last month. There is a booming expat community in Berlin though – check out on my sidebar: benperry.net, Berlin FAQ, BerlinBites, Bowleserised, Broke in Berlin, and Ich bin ein Berliner.
Hi Christina,
I’am happy to be discovering your blog. I’am enjoying it very much
My sincere Congrats for Baby !
I hope that you are feeling fine, and everything going well.
You will have another addition to the Family tree in a few months time. Hurrah !
I have not lived in any of your US cities; I was from the greater Honolulu area in Hawaii.
See you soon.
@Barbara: Thanks! We just had a check up and we’re both doing great. The baby is up to 2.5kg now. I’m hoping he won’t end up being gigantic! I love Hawaii. My aunt has a time share there, and I used to go with her every summer for two weeks (a week on Oahu and a week on Kauai). Cheers!
Congratulations Christina. Do both fare well. You’re gonna be so happy…(and sleep-deprived, but overall, soooooo happy !). I hope you and your family are doing fine in Bavaria. Best bests.
@mkf: Thanks so much! We’re doing well so far!
Hello. I just hopped over here from clicking too many times and I’m glad I did. Hope it all goes wel for you and the bubs!
@colourmecrazy: Thanks! Not much longer to go now!
Das ist sehr gut!!
Thanks for visiting my blog.
-Sandy
@sandy: Thanks!
Christina,
hey, any day now
Good luck for the big day, and may the weather stay nice and cool for you.
@martina: Thanks, I hope the weather stays nice too, but I’m expecting that I’ll go into labor as soon as there’s a heat wave!
Hello, just wondering if the baby has shown up yet?
@colour: Not yet – the doc doesn’t expect him to show up early, so I guess it’s still about two weeks to go
Hey thanks for popping by Cooler Insights and congrats on your upcoming little one! I find that having kids is both a joyful experience mixed with some fear and trepidation. And this coming from a dad as opposed to a mum.
Glad to know that you are also flying the flag for environmental causes. We need more advocates!
@cool insider: Thanks for stopping by! I enjoy your website!
oooohhh… herzlichen gluckwuensch!!!
Hi Christina,
Thanks for the visit to my blog and good luck with the impending birth I hope everything is a little quicker than ours seems to be.
BTW, I’ve added you to my blogroll.
Cheers.
@anp: Vielen Dank!
@ian: Thanks! I love your blog and added you to my blogroll as well.
