Oliver ultrasound - 3 May 2007

We’re coming into the home stretch now, and I can’t wait to get this baby out of me! At our appointment last week, the doctor estimates that Oliver is almost 1800 grams or 4 pounds and has already moved into the head down position for birth. Only 11 weeks to go!

Wow, only 11 weeks! That’s such a cool picture.

Yay for head being in the right position! Is he still kicking?

@maria: I know! I can’t wait to meet him!

@christina: Isn’t his little hand cute?

@Bowleserised: He’s still kicking like a pro footballer! Depending on his position I can feel parts of him too. Since he’s head down (and the doc expects him to stay that way), I’m pretty sure I could feel his bum pressing out the other day.

Yeah, you ar almost done! My advice is sleep now while you can :)

@andrea: I WISH I could. Oliver already likes waking me up every night around 3am and it takes me forever to get back to sleep.

So exciting! Eleven weeks will fly by, and then your days & nights will be filled with all the activity you can handle. Have you decided to name him Oliver, or is that just his in-utero nickname? Either way, Oliver’s a great name.

@Eurotrippen: Oliver is what we plan to call him, but you never know. He could pop out and clearly be a Bob ;-)
