Great looking food. I think it depends on the company you're in which dishes will be a hit. I've made "exotic" (ie: not even spicy but just not German) stuff before and some people didn't even touch it. There's the German phrase "Was der Bauer nich kennt, frisst er nicht." - "What the farmer doesn't know, he won't eat." and I find a lot of Germans do adhere to this and refuse to try anything new. On the other hand we have some friends who will gobble down anything I make, so I invite them over a lot. :-) Yum! Great looking food.
