Oh… my…

Found this over at This non-American Life and wow. This must be seen to be believed. I think I actually cried a little. I guess it’s appearing on television over here, although I’ve never seen it on (it’s probably played during prime time on one of the first two channels -Das Erste or ZDF, which I generally avoid like the plague). Some may say it’s the flying or the frantic arm gestures, but I think it’s the Eskimo suit that puts this over the top for me.

And as I found out on Debbie Bunny’s blog, SpiegelOnline International says The Daily Show is coming to Germany in April (and it won’t be dubbed).

That’s terrifying! The Hoff at his very best.

Great news about The Daily Show.

@christina: it is horrifying, and yet strangely catchy too…

ROFLOL! That’s crazy! Thanks for posting it!

In all honesty he’s not that bad a singer, but I want to know what’s up with the dachshunds and the guy with the bulging eyes!

@aj: You’re welcome! And I’ve got no idea what’s up with the odd imagery.

I asked Rainer for his take and he said that it’s just good German humor! Scary!

It took me weeks of intense psychotherapy to get over the traumatic experience of that video.

I think they should have drowned him in Baywatch. His singing is appalling.

I’ve seen this video from The Hof a few times and it is hypnotic as it is so bad. I would say to make someting like this you would have to be on some serious drugs……but then again he probably is! :)

@Jul: I think I may need to find a psychotherapist as well after that!

@vailian: True, but I’d still rank him above Britney Spears. ;-)

@haddock: Whatever he’s on that made him think this was a good idea, I want some. Oh damn, I’m pregnant. Oh well.

That…was strange. To say the least. Very, very strange. For me, it was the “Ooga, chakka, hooga, hooga” that put it over the top for me. Bizarre, bizarre, bizarre.
