Walking in a Winter Wonderland

by Christina Geyer on January 24, 2007 · 7 comments

Winter has finally arrived in Laaber and I couldn’t be happier. I’m not exactly a winter lover, but it’s nice to have a couple snow storms a year. Besides, Charlie’s excitement when he sees snow is something I love! He’s clearly a made for snow dog.

Here in Laaber, we’re at about 8 inches and climbing. The snow is still falling pretty heavily, so maybe we’ll even reach a foot by tonight!

He looks rather happy. I don’t mind a little snow myself, but after suffering through 22 inches in one storm in Denver, I’ve had enough this winter.

We’ve got a trace in Weimar right now.

@tqe: Well, maybe Weimar will just get a trace then ;-)

It’s still snowing like mad up here. You can hardly even tell that I shoveled the walkway this morning!

@rita: wetter123.com says that it’ll snow on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, so Leipzig should have a nice white weekend ahead! :-)

And it’s STILL snowing like crazy here! The snow plow needs to come through again cause the road is completely buried!
