What Christina found out on November 17th…

It seems Rainer was right about that Chinese food ;-)

Unfortunately, I’m suffering from constant sickness (as opposed to morning sickness – I lost a whole kilogram in the last week), not to mention that most of the day I am too exhausted to make it out of bed (yesterday’s short IKEA trip required 18 hours sleep to recover from). The doctor says this a “good” sign.

Well, I’ve spent the time rereading Harry Potter and am hoping that when OotP comes out I will manage to make it to the theater.

Congratulations! What lovely news!

I don’t know if you’ve come across Sattva’s blog, but she’s having a German-American baby too, and her latest post popped up alongside this one on my Bloglines page.

@bowleserised: Thanks for the link, I’ve bookmarked her page!

@rita: He/she is due July 23. We had an ultrasound this morning and the little one was doing gymnastics in there. It was weird and cool at the same time!

Christina, a million congratulations to you both (or all). So a little Bayer is on the way, rather than a little Berliner!

And you were pregnant when you cooked all that Thanksgiving wondrousness for us! Well, put your feet up for the next seven months and let Rainer take the strain.

Congrats! We had our second daughter her in DE in September (our first was born in DC a few years ago), and things have been great! Although morning sickness is not the best part–enjoy the internal gymnastics and everything else!

Congratulations! Good luck with the sickness. Women hate me… I never had to suffer through that, but I am more than a week overdue, so that might be my payback?

WOW! Congratulations!!!!!!!

(You can ignore the fertility pep talk that is coming in my Christmas card) :)

First, a general thanks to everyone!

@BiB: I was pregnant for the Thanksgiving party and was completely exhausted. I pretty much sleepwalked through the party, sorry if I was a bit boring because of it!

@Maria: Good luck with the birth, I hope you’ve already had the baby actually!

@Vicky: I look forward to reading the pep talk ;-) And sorry I haven’t sent Christmas cards out this year. The thought of having to write them all sends me straight to sleep!
