Nip/Tuck
The second season is currently on here and I have to say that I am addicted. I was recently thinking about how I had never seen the lead actors in anything before and was wondering what their backgrounds were, when the other night Congo came on (a truly sucky movie). But lo and behold, the gorilla researcher was Sean from Nip/Tuck. I have to add, he is much cuter now. It’s funny how men often get more attractive as they get older. Well, I do think that most women look better in their 30’s than in their 20’s. They generally know what looks good on them, don’t jump into every trend that comes along, and are more confident in their skin. But I mean when men get into their 40’s and 50’s. It’s a bit unfair. Okay, Harrison Ford is getting nasty, he was so cute in Star Wars and Indiana Jones.
The bunnies are enjoying our new garden. Their play area is much bigger here than it was in Rostock, and they have a little fir tree that they can sit under.
Charlie was sick yesterday. The poor guy had an upset tummy (he was eating trash the day before yesterday, so no wonder) and just laid around whining. He is once again his crazy self today.
I can’t get onto Yahoo today, something seems to be wrong with their servers, so I suppose I will go watch Return of the Jedi now. Later!

I’m ba-ack!
I’ve rejoined the world! We have phone service again, but alas, no dsl. I woke up in the middle of the night with a migraine, which sucked. My migraine medicine also has the unpleasant side effect of making me feel like I have a full body bruise. It sucks, but it’s better than a migraine, I guess.
Charlie made a new friend Kira today and wore himself out playing with her. She’s about half his size, but was kicking his butt until Charlie came upon the brilliant tactical idea of simply sitting on her. He came home and collapsed on the kitchen floor. Charlie and the bunnies have reached a cease fire agreement. Okay, the problem was all mainly on the part of Franklin, who has decided he must kill Charlie. Grumpy seems cool with the new family addition.
I’m still working on the geneology stuff and will put it on my webpage at some later date. I seem to be descended from royalty, including Charlemagne and William the Conqueror, among others.
There will be new federal elections in Germany in the fall (one year early), and it looks as if Schroeder is going to lose. I don’t really know what difference that will make. I’m getting pretty jaded when it comes to politics. And if the next US pres. election is really Condi vs. Hilary, I may have to suck it up and vote for Hilary. Condi is the anti-Christ.

If you’ve been wondering where I have been, and where I may be for awhile, I am stuck in the dark ages.
We don’t have a phone in our new apartment. Deutsche Telekom sucks! A guy came to fix our phone, which worked only long enough for me to call Rainer and tell him our phone was working. Plus! Extra bonus for me here… There is no DSL available in this apartment, so I will still be saddled with the inconvenience of dial-up (when we actually have a working phone anyway).
Charlie is well, in fact, I must be getting back before he pees on the carpet. So much for my brief report… signing off from the Train Station Internet Cafe.
