I’m on opiate-based pain medicine now. I can’t read very well. My eyes won’t focus probably. Hopefully this gets better soon, because lying on your back is REALLY boring when you can’t read. But my back doesn’t hurt as bad anymore. I guess that’s a benefit of being constantly high. Hmpf.
So, the neurosurgeon wants to do surgery as a very, very last resort. We’re trying the strong painkillers to get out of the “cycle of pain” so I can start doing some exercises. When I’m doing a little better, I will go to a rehab center for 3 weeks where they will starve me and torture me with exercising (at least I’ll get massages with this).
